Townsville

Stephen and I went up to Townsville for his Mum's 80th birthday party. We went up Castle Hill for a good look around.

 

Our plane tried to land in a cyclone but went back up and diverted to Cairns instead. There was lots of water on the floodplain.

The Lagoon at Riverway was a great place for a swim.

The tipping bucket along the Strand was popular with kids.

There were lots of black cockatoos along the Strand.
