Stephen and I climbed Flinders Peak on the road out from Ipswich towards Boonah.
It is quite steep. There is one section up a rock face cliff and some rock hopping. It took us 2 hours to get to the top and one hour to get back down. You can see Brisbane and Cunningham Gap.
The Walk starts at a picnic ground at the bottom. There is another shorter walk up a lower hill we might try next time.
At the top there are some Energex sheds.
