A Bomemian Challenge

Stephen and I succesfully completed the 100km HTM Southbank to Southport cycle challenge in a little under 4 hours. Just to add to the challenge I played a bohemian concert with the Northern Rivers Symphony Orchestra the night before and a couple of hours after the ride as well. I made Seagulls in plenty of time. I was imagining getting a flat and having to cycle like a madman to get there. The logistics of getting the bikes, viola, ziggy, black suit, cycling gear and the cars between milton and the gold coast was a challenge as well until Adrian and Robb offered us a lift back to Brisbane after the Gold Coast Arts Centre concert. We played a series of bohemian music including the bomemian rhapsady by Queen. Apparently (according to Byron) Bomenia is the lower part of northern bohemia. We also played the Carnival Overture and the Maldau. Stephen had not heard of the Maldau as a river so we looked it up and it is called the Vlata as well which he had heard of and been to. We are talking about going to Germany next year so hopefully I will get to see it after playing all the way along it a few times.
